Agreement

These terms govern your use of the Taxomate website (taxomate.com) and the Taxomate service. They also govern any other agreement or legal relationship between you and us that these terms cover. They are legally binding. Please read them carefully.

Taxomate, Inc. provides the website and the service. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Taxomate, Inc. "You" means any person or legal entity that uses Taxomate. "Service" means the service we provide through Taxomate, as described on the website and in these terms.

Acceptable use

You may use Taxomate and the service only for the purposes they are provided for, and only as these terms and applicable law allow. You alone are responsible for making sure your use does not break any law, regulation, or third-party right.

Plans, payment, and cancellation

Free trials, plan prices, automatic renewal, automatic plan upgrades, price changes, cancellation, and refunds are set out in our Billing & Refund Policy. That policy is part of these terms.

Content on Taxomate

Unless we say otherwise or it is clear from the context, we or our licensors own or provide all content on Taxomate. We make every effort to make sure our content does not break the law or infringe third-party rights, but we cannot always guarantee this. If you believe content on Taxomate is a problem, please tell us at support@taxomate.com. Reporting a complaint to us does not limit any legal right you have to enforce your rights yourself.

Intellectual property

Except where a more specific term in these terms says otherwise, we or our licensors exclusively own all intellectual property rights in Taxomate. This includes copyrights, trademark rights, patent rights, and design rights. Applicable laws and international treaties protect them.

The Taxomate name and logo, and the other brand names, logos and images on Taxomate, belong to us or our licensors. Using Taxomate does not give you any right to use them.

No reselling

You may not copy, reproduce, duplicate, sell, resell, or otherwise exploit any part of Taxomate or the service without our express prior written permission. We can give that permission directly or through an official reselling program.

Third-party resources and integrations

Taxomate may give you access to resources that third parties provide. We do not control those resources. We are not responsible for their content or availability. The third party's own terms apply to its resources, including any grant of rights in its content. If it has no terms, the applicable law applies.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. Our cookie policy explains the cookies and similar tools on our website.

Warranties, liability, and indemnity

Nothing in these terms limits any right that the law gives you and that cannot be limited by agreement.

Service interruptions and discontinuation

We may interrupt the service for maintenance, system updates, or other changes. We will tell you appropriately when we do.

Within the limits of the law, we may also suspend or discontinue the service altogether. If we discontinue the service, we will work with you so you can take out your personal data and information. We will respect your rights to keep using the product, and any right to compensation, that applicable law gives you.

The service may also be unavailable for reasons outside our reasonable control, such as events of force majeure (for example infrastructure failures or power outages).

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms at any time. We will tell you about changes in an appropriate way. A change applies to our relationship with you only from the date we tell you. If you keep using the service, you accept the new terms. If you do not want to be bound by the change, stop using the service. You may also end the agreement.

The earlier version of the terms governs our relationship until you accept the new one. You can ask us for any earlier version.

Transfer of the agreement

We may pass some or all of our rights and obligations under these terms to another company, or use subcontractors to carry them out. We will take your legitimate interests into account. The rules on changes to these terms apply to such a transfer. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these terms in any way without our written permission.

General terms

• No waiver. If we do not enforce a right or term, we do not give it up. A waiver on one occasion is not a waiver on any later occasion or of any other term.
• Severability. If a term is or becomes invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the other terms stay valid and in force.
• Communications. Send all communications about your use of Taxomate to the contact details on this page.
