When shopping at Walmart, knowing what payment methods are accepted is important to avoid any last-minute surprises. The retail giant offers several payment options, including traditional methods like debit cards, credit cards, and PayPal, as well as newer options like Walmart Pay and digital wallets.
One of Walmart’s most common payment methods is using a debit card. All major debit cards are accepted and PIN debit transactions occur at in-store checkout. To use your debit card, just swipe or insert the card and enter your PIN.
Another payment method accepted at Walmart is PayPal. PayPal is a digital wallet used to make secure payments online or in-store without revealing your card details. To use PayPal for shopping with Walmart, just sign up for an account and register your debit or credit card.
Like most companies, Walmart accepts major credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. To use a credit card at checkout, either swipe or insert the card or enter your account's information online.
