Note: Synder counts synced transactions, not orders. Every transaction except processing fees counts, so refunds and payouts use transactions too. Synder prices shown are the monthly-billed "from" prices: Essential includes 1,000 synced transactions and allows up to 3,000 sales transactions a month, so 5,000 and 10,000 orders need Pro, which includes 10,000 synced transactions. Synder tailors the final price to your volume and bills extra volume separately. Annual billing is 20% lower. Taxomate pricing shown is the monthly Multi plan, which keeps channel connections unlimited.

How Synder pricing works

Synder sells plans by synced transactions per month. On Synder's pricing page, read on October 16, 2026, the monthly-billed plans are:

  • Basic: $65/month. 500 synced transactions, 2 integration slots, 1 user, daily imports.
  • Essential: From $129/month. 1,000 synced transactions included, up to 3,000 sales transactions, unlimited integration slots, hourly imports.
  • Pro: From $299/month. 10,000 synced transactions included, up to 20,000 sales transactions, and access to premium integrations.
  • Pro Max: From $599/month. 20,000 synced transactions included.

Synder says every transaction except processing fees counts against your balance. Extra volume is billed separately. Annual billing is 20% lower.

Transactions are not the same as orders

A marketplace seller with 1,000 orders a month also has refunds and payouts. Each of those can use a Synder transaction. Plan for a transaction count above your order count.

Taxomate prices by monthly orders. Multi is $42 at 1,000 orders, $59 at 5,000, and $99 at 10,000. Refunds and payouts do not use a separate allowance.

Walmart, channel slots, and Wave

Synder lists Walmart as a premium integration. Premium integrations are available on Pro and higher plans, which start at $299/month. Synder Basic also limits you to 2 integration slots.

  • Walmart: Taxomate Multi from $42/month / Synder Pro from $299/month
  • Channel connections: Taxomate Multi unlimited / Synder Basic 2, Essential and higher unlimited
  • Wave: Taxomate ✓ / Synder ✗ (Synder lists QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Puzzle on its lower plans)
  • Historical data: Taxomate imports history for free / Synder history is paid on Basic and Essential, and Pro includes 3 months free

Wave offers free core accounting, but its third-party API connections require an active Pro Plan or Wave Advisors package. If you use Wave with Taxomate, budget for both.

When Synder is the better fit

Synder is built around payment processors as well as marketplaces. It is the stronger choice when:

  • Most of your revenue comes through Stripe, PayPal, or Square. Taxomate connects to marketplaces and Shopify. It does not connect directly to Stripe, PayPal, or Square accounts.
  • You need per-transaction detail in your books. Synder offers per-transaction sync as well as summary sync. Taxomate posts one summary per payout.
  • You use NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Intuit Enterprise Suite. Synder supports these on Pro and higher. Taxomate supports QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Wave.

Taxomate is the better fit when you sell on Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Walmart, or Etsy and want each payout to post as one summary that matches the bank deposit, at a price set by orders.

How to switch from Synder without double-posting

The main risk when you switch is posting the same sales twice. Keep Synder connected until Taxomate posts your first payout correctly. Then use this order:

  1. Pick a cutover date. Find the last date Synder synced to your books. Taxomate will post only payouts deposited after that date.
  2. Connect your sales channels and your accounting software. Leave Auto Sync off for now.
  3. Send one payout manually. Pick the first payout after your cutover date. Compare the entry with your bank deposit.
  4. Turn on Auto Sync. Set the auto-post start date to your cutover date. Then turn off Synder for that channel.

If Synder synced individual transactions, check that the clearing or undeposited funds account is empty for the period before the cutover. Every plan includes a free 1:1 onboarding call. We can check your cutover date and mappings with you.

Why choose Taxomate over Synder?

Synder is a strong choice for Stripe, PayPal, and Square businesses that want transaction-level detail. Taxomate is the better fit for marketplace sellers who want pricing by orders, unlimited channels, Walmart on every Multi plan, Wave support, and free historical imports.

Frequently asked questions

Is Taxomate cheaper than Synder?

For marketplace sellers, usually yes. Synder Basic is $65 a month for 500 synced transactions, Essential starts at $129, and Pro starts at $299. Taxomate Multi costs $42 at 1,000 orders, $59 at 5,000, and $99 at 10,000, with unlimited channel connections.

What counts as a transaction in Synder?

Synder says every transaction except processing fees counts against your balance. That includes sales, and can include refunds and payouts. Check Synder's help center for how your setup counts.

Does Taxomate connect to Stripe, PayPal, or Square?

No. Taxomate connects to Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Walmart, and Etsy. For Shopify, it handles orders paid through other gateways such as PayPal inside the Shopify payout. If most of your revenue goes through Stripe, PayPal, or Square directly, Synder is the better fit.

Does Synder support Wave?

Synder's pricing page does not list Wave. Taxomate supports QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Wave.

How do I switch from Synder without posting sales twice?

Pick a cutover date after the last Synder sync. Keep Auto Sync off, send the first payout after that date manually, and compare it with your bank deposit. Then turn on Auto Sync with that cutover date as the start date and turn off Synder for that channel.

Can Taxomate post each transaction separately like Synder?

No. Taxomate posts one summary per payout, grouped by SKU, transaction type, or order. The summary matches the bank deposit. If you need each sale as a separate record in your books, Synder's per-transaction sync is the better fit.
